These boys were so good, handsome, and fun! I LOVE the colors their mom chose for the session!

I loved seeing their brotherly bond come out too. It totally reminded me of my two boys.

It makes me happy when people feel comfortable enough in a session to totally let loose and show their personality and love. So CUTE!

I am really LOVING making 10x20 storyboards with photos from my recent sessions! Each 10x20 print will have 2-5 photos together that tell a small story or just look cute!

I love having candid photos mixed with portraits. I think it gives a glimpse into the personality of the people being photographed. Here are a few I've been working on.

This little gal gave me a run for my money. She took 2 perfect shots in the beginning with a background that I didn't love (good thing for black & white conversion) and then wouldn't smile big after that. These photos with her baby are my favorites! She loves her baby. SO SWEET!

I had a wonderful photo shoot with this beautiful gal on Saturday. We took photos in one of my favorite locations - a back street in Pittsburg, TX. It was quite chilly but we had fun and got some great shots anyway!

I recently set up a small studio in my home. For the month of February, I am going to be offering children's studio sessions at a REALLY great price!

Each client will get a choice of up to two backdrops and a 20-30 minute session. I have LOTS of backdrop colors to choose from. Your photos DO NOT have to be Valentine themed.

After the session, I will post 5-10 edited images to an online gallery. At this point you can choose which images you want for your prints.

I am long overdue for a post on this blog. I guess it is fitting that these pictures have been long overdue for some editing and sharing.

I took these photos of my friend's niece over Thanksgiving. That's a LONG time ago.

She was adorable and kept climbing all these different stairs that looked exactly the same. She would sit, smile for me, and then climb down.

I don't want to admit on here that I totally messed up the white balance on this session. All the pictures turned out to have MAJOR blue tint. I was SO disappointed about that. If it would have been a paying session, I would have refunded the money and given them another session and prints for free. Luckily I was able to salvage a few good ones in black and white of this cutie!

You can be SURE that I will be checking my white balance settings and LCD display like crazy from now on!
